Phoebe’s First Staycation
Our first getaway with Phoebe was in a charming Airbnb in Scampton village. The cottage had quirky features and a free-standing bath. Despite the hot weather, we enjoyed the time there. The enclosed garden allowed Phoebe to roam freely, although it was overgrown.
The village pub aptly named The Dam busters Inn was a gem. Its own resident dog helped to
create a welcoming atmosphere for both humans and furry friends.
Since Scampton is close to Lincoln, we couldn't resist paying a visit.
We enjoyed delicious food and refreshing drinks outside at The Botanist before heading to Lincoln’s own little city beach.

Phoebe’s First Hotel Stay
Phoebe's first hotel stay at The Cheltenham Chase was a pampered paradise with dog-friendly amenities, impeccable service, and a cozy room, creating an unforgettable experience.
The hotel offers dog-friendly rooms and a bar area, allowing pets like Phoebe to enjoy breakfast and sausages. Being part of Marriott Bonvoy allows guests to earn points and enjoy a spa experience. It's a great place for a relaxing stay with furry friends.
After experiencing Broadway and cocktails at The Swan, we visited Domaine 16, a dog-friendly cheese and wine restaurant. They offer cheese fondues and Barbie cocktails for humans while providing care for pets. It's a great spot to relax with your furry friend. Cheers to a paw-some time at Domaine 16! 🍷🧀
Visiting Broadway in the Cotswolds feels like a fairytale with charming cottages, quaint shops, and dog-friendly pubs like The Swan, offering a cozy atmosphere and delicious cocktails for a perfect outing with your furry friend.

Phoebe’s First
Euro Tunnel
Travel to a hot destination with your dog using the Euro Tunnel, convenient for UK residents who can bring their pets along.
We took Phoebe on the Eurotunnel to Folkestone. Discovered Abbey Well Vets, had a quick appointment, got necessary paperwork, and had time for a cocktail nearby to celebrate the successful start of the adventure. 🍹🚗🐾
After a vet visit, stayed at a dog-friendly Holiday Inn with more dogs than humans, enjoyed a seafront stroll, gluten-free fish and chips, and took a taxi back to the hotel due to tired paws.
We quickly checked in at the Eurotunnel pet reception with no queue, got an earlier shuttle, and let Phoebe play at the pet park before the journey.

Phoebe’s Trip
Through France
We explored dog-friendly hotels and dining in Lyon, Lille, and Dijon, enjoying the highlights of each city in France.
Dijon's medieval charm and mustard-colored buildings impressed us. Our centrally located hotel provided a comfortable retreat. Dining experiences were delightful, including a pet-friendly cheese and wine restaurant. Phoebe, our dog, was pampered by the locals and enjoyed a dog-friendly park. It was a perfect experience! 🐶❤️
In Lyon, enjoyed cuisine, architecture, walks along the Rhône River, and a luxurious hotel suite with a view. Parc de la Tête d'or is recommended for walks.

Phoebe in the South of France
I want to share with you the incredible dog friendly experience I had in the beautiful South of France with Phoebe.
Let's start with the highlight of our trip: the villa we booked through booking.com in La Colle sur loup.
As soon as we arrived, my furry friend Phoebe and I were greeted by a paradise for dogs. The villa boasted an enclosed garden, perfect for Phoebe to roam around freely and safely. And let me tell you, the pool was a real treat for both of us! We spent countless hours splashing around and enjoying the sunny weather.
Inside the villa, we were delighted to find spacious, air-conditioned rooms. After a long day of exploring, it was a true blessing to come back to a comfortable and cool space. We could relax and recharge, ready for the next adventure.
One of the things that made this villa even more special was its convenient location. Just a short walk away, we found ourselves surrounded by charming shops and bakeries. And oh, those French pastries! We indulged in croissants, pain au chocolat, and all the delicious treats the region had to offer. It was a foodie's dream come true!
Our journey through France ended at the breathtaking city of Cannes, where I discovered a hidden gem on Sainte-Marguerite Island - La Guerite Cannes restaurant. From the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant, I could feel the welcoming vibes and the staff's genuine hospitality. And the best part? They were incredibly accommodating of our furry friend, Phoebe. It's always a relief to find a place that not only appreciates our four-legged companions but treats them like the special guests they are.
The ambiance of La Guerite was simply magical. With stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and a charming outdoor seating area, we felt like we were dining in paradise. The menu was a culinary delight, offering a delectable selection of dishes that tantalized our taste buds.
One of the highlights of our trip was discovering how dog-friendly Nice is. We found ourselves at the dog-friendly beach clubs, where Phoebe had a blast splashing around and enjoying the sun. But that's not all - there's even a beach exclusively for dogs and their owners! Located right across from the LENVAL hospital on the famous Promenade des Anglais, this special spot is easily recognizable with two stunning statues by the talented artist Stéphane Bolongaro marking the entrance. we couldn't resist checking out the dog-friendly Hard Rock. It's so cool that they welcome our furry friends too!
